The text currently on the message is the default, it is shown whenever you can not edit a protected page, regardless of whether it is a Semi-protected or Protected page and gives very little detail on why it has been done or what to do next. For that reason I would like to propose a change. I fiddled around with syntax from EnWiki, added some, deleted some tried to simplify the language. I believe the syntax will work... sadly I wasn't able to totally test it because of things I haven't installed yet on my test wiki SOOOO... it should work :) if you want to see how the semiprotected page should look when you click "view source" as a new user or ip see my sandbox User:Jamesofur/sandbox you will have to read the code to see what a protected page would look like when you click view source but the box will look the same (I can make an example page for that one to if you'd like).Jamesofur (talk) 04:53, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
