Naruto: Clash of Ninja
Naruto: Clash of Ninja (known as Naruto: Gekitō Ninja Taisen!) is a series of fighting video games that are developed by Eighting and are published by D3 Publisher, Tomy, and formerly Namco Bandai. The video games are based on the manga and anime Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto.
Through its history, the series has had many different names depending on localization and console releases. The first three games were released on GameCube. The third and fourth games were released only in Japan and went by the title Naruto: Gekitō Ninja Taisen!. Three games would be released for the Wii titled Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution with the first game being a port of Naruto: Gekitō Ninja Taisen! 3. There was a Japan exclusive series called Naruto Shippūden: Gekitō Ninja Taisen! EX and four games were released under it.
The series would receive mixed reviews from critics. They were more positive of the later games in the series for its characters, gameplay, and fighting mechanics compared to the earlier games which they said were too easy, didn't have a story mode and was lacking in features.[1][2][3]
