It Won't Be Soon Before Long is the second studio album by American pop rock group Maroon 5. It was released under A&M/Octone Records on May 22, 2007 in the United States. It debuted atop the Billboard 200 albums chart and on the Billboard Digital Albums chart. The lead single off the album "Makes Me Wonder" was released on March 27, 2007 and peaked atop the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. The album includes other singles such as "Wake Up Call", "Won't Go Home Without You", "If I Never See Your Face Again", and "Goodnight Goodnight."

changeAn expanded version of It Won't Be Soon Before Long was issued on June 29, 2008 in Australia and July 8, 2008 for the rest of the world. The album has the 12 original tracks from the original version, plus a bonus DVD with four music videos and a full concert recorded on June 13, 2007 in Montreal.[1]
The Background
changeA chorus from the song called "Nothing Lasts Forever" (the 7th track off It Won't Be Soon Before Long) was featured in a song by Kanye West. The Kayne West song, featuring the lead singer Adam Levine, was called "Heard 'Em Say". It was released in 2005 on the album Late Registration. The first track off the album, called "If I Never See Your Face Again", was released as a remix in May, 2008. This track had been worked on with help from Rihanna. The song turned out to be a music video and ranked #51 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
