Paul McDonald Calvo

Governor of Guam from 1979 to 1983 (1934–2024)

Paul McDonald Calvo (July 25, 1934 – October 16, 2024) was a Guamanian politician. He was the third elected Governor of Guam from January 1, 1979 to January 3, 1983.[1] He was a member of the Republican Party.

Calvo was born in Agana, Guam. He studied at Santa Clara University. His son, Eddie Calvo, was elected governor of Guam in 2011.

Calvo died on October 16, 2024 at his home in Mongmong-Toto-Maite, Guam at the age of 90.[2]
