Rajen Kandel (born 1980 in Chitwan, Nepal) is a prominent entrepreneur and educator. He graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Computing degree from the University of Greenwich and completed his MBA in 2018 from University College London.[1][2][3]

Rajen Kandel began his career as an IT Manager. He is currently the Managing Director of The Kandel Group UK, which includes several subsidiaries:[4][5]

Kandel is the Founder and CEO of The British College in Kathmandu. Additionally, he leads E-WorksUK and Global NepaliPatra Publications in the UK and Australia.[9] He serves as the Chairman of The Kandel Estates, with investments in real estate and various business interests across the UK, UAE, Nepal, Australia, Canada, and Germany.[10][11][12][13]

Kandel is the Executive Chairman of both the British Education Group London and the British Grammar School in Nepal. From 2015 to 2019, he chaired the Britain Nepal Chamber of Commerce (BNCC)[14] and was an advisor for the Non-Resident Nepalese Association (NRNA) in the UK. Despite his success in international business, Kandel's primary passion lies in the field of education.[15][16][17][18]
