Ready to Go (Get Me Out of My Mind)
"Ready to Go (Get Me Out of My Mind)" (also known as "Ready to Go") the second single off the album Vices & Virtues by American pop rock band Panic! at the Disco. The single is the follow up to the band's previously released single "The Ballad of Mona Lisa". The single was produced by Butch Walker, who produced the majority of the band's Vices & Virtues album, and written by frontman Brendon Urie and percussionist Spencer Smith along with co-producer John Feldmann. The single is a branch out statement relative to the group's other well-known songs as this song contains less rock elements and is lacking the group's sound from their previous two albums A Fever You Can't Sweat Out and Pretty. Odd. The single peaked at number fourteen on the U.S. Billboard Alternative Songs chart in July of 2011.
