Ripoff
unfavorable financial transaction offered or taken
A ripoff happens when something is very overpriced (overcharged). Ripoff affects senior citizens,[1][2][3] women, youth and minorities more than others. This is also known as a knockoff. Numerous example is the 1988 movie Mac and Me, widely seen as a ripoff of Steven Spielberg's E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.[citation needed] Another good example of a ripoff is Genshin Impact, which is widely seen as a ripoff of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, others are animated rip-offs of numerous TV shows like the English-dubbed Bob Boyle and Cam Clarke's Nutri Ventures in 2013 and Kid Cosmic in 2021, is as a double ripoff of original The Powerpuff Girls and Coconut Fred is a rip-off of SpongeBob SquarePants.
