Rob Portman
American lawyer and politician (born 1955)
Robert Jones "Rob" Portman (born December 19, 1955) is an American lawyer and politician. He was the United States Senator from Ohio from 2011 to 2023. He served as the 14th United States Trade Representative and 35th Director of the Office of Management and Budget.

Portman was born on December 19, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is of Scottish, Northern Irish, English, and German ancestry.[1] Portman studied at Dartmouth College and at the University of Michigan. He is married to Jane Dudley. They have three children.
On January 25, 2021, he announced that he would not be running for reelection to a third term in 2022.[2]
