Sonny Callahan

American politician

Herbert Leon "Sonny" Callahan (September 11, 1932 – June 24, 2021) was an American businessman and politician. He was elected as a Democrat from Mobile.[1] Callahan was repeatedly elected as a Republican to the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1985 to 2003.

Callahan died on June 24, 2021 in Mobile at the age of 88.[2]
