Suzette Delaloge (born 6 July 1967 Auxerre ) is a French oncologist . In 2018, she was awarded the Legion of Honor.[1] She is notable because she has received an important academic award or honor at a national or international level.
Life change
Suzette Delaloge set up the first rapid screening system for breast cancer in 2004 . [1][2][3]
She is coordinator of the MyPebs program, to study cancer screening among a large sample of women .[4][5][6]
From 2004 to 2021, Suzette Delaloge was head of the breast pathology department at the Institut Gustave-Roussy (IGR) , [7] . In 2022, she was director of the personalized cancer prevention program for IGR , .[8]
In 2015, she co-signed a letter for the right to be forgotten for cured patients in the newspaper Libération .[9]
She writing appears in Le Monde or Le Figaro .. She cautioned on the risks of hair straightening products ,[8] or on obtaining a second opinion after medical diagnosis.[10]
She is an editor for the European Journal of Cancer, and is on the steering committee of the European Society of Medical Oncology.
