Tô Lâm (born 10 July 1957) is a Vietnamese politician and police officer. In 2024, he became the 13th President of Vietnam.^[1] He was Minister of Public Security from April 2016 until May 2024. He is a member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam.^[2]
