My understanding of Japanese is pretty slim. But I do recognise the Kanji in that article, 親日 - if I'm not mistaken, that says "Sunday". Have I misread this? DaneGeld (talk) 00:45, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

DaneGeld - it does say Sunday and It would appear to be related to https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E8%A6%AA%E6%97%A5 - The article on Japan Wiki says Pro-Japanese .... I assumed Sunday was the day before Monday but there we are lol. –Davey2010Talk 01:23, 23 October 2017 (UTC),Reply
Hi. In Japanese Sunday is "にちようび” (hiragana) or ”日曜日” (kanji), Sunday is pronounced, "Nichiyoubi". When I put that above Kanji that DaneGeld provided, google translate gave me back "Japanophilia" The usage of that Kanji might depend on the contex, so it is maybe why you got 'sunday', but Google translate did not return that result though nor does the internet. I'm not a native Japanese speaker, so I'm not 100% familiar with that Kanji's use. Also, I have never seen Sunday used in that Kanji. Had I seen this two years earlier I would had replied 2 years earlier (If I learned Japanese 2 years earlier...) --Tsugaru Let's Talk! :) 🍁 01:03, 15 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
