Talk:Low Saxon

I suggest to move it to Low German. This article is on Low German, not Low Saxon. 77.179.241.235 11:59, 4 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

The article is about Plattdüütsch. In English the name is translated from the official name used in the Netherlands. http://lowlands-l.net/grammar/index-engl.htm. "Saxon" also serves to confirm that it is not merely a dialect of German but a separate language, although in the eastern Netherlands the languages was often regarded as a dialect of dutch. "Saxon" shows independence. --Bärliner 12:11, 4 January 2008 (UTC).Reply

Low Saxon is a part of Low German, see de:Niedersächsisch. If it is not moved irt should be restricted to Low Saxon/West Low German. Sarcelles (talk) 14:10, 31 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Return to "Low Saxon" page.
