The Young and the Hopeless is the second studio album by American pop punk band, Good Charlotte. The Young and the Hopeless was released on October 1, 2002 and was re-released in 2004. It was the first album by Good Charlotte to feature an intro song. The album featured the singles "Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous", "The Anthem", "Girls & Boys", "The Young & the Hopeless" and "Hold On".
