Toriko
Toriko (トリコ) is a Japanese manga series created by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro. It was published in Weekly Shōnen Jump from May 19, 2008 to November 21, 2016. The chapters are collected into 43 tankōbon volumes by Shueisha. It is about adventures of Toriko who searches for different types of rare foods.

A short movie was created by Ufotable for the Jump Super Anime Tour 2009. Another short movie was created for the 2010 tour. There is an anime television series based on this manga. It was produced by Toei Animation. It was broadcast in Japan from 2011 to 2014. Toei also made a 2011 animated 3D short movie and a 2013 feature movie.
In 2009, Toriko was nominated for the second annual Manga Taishō award.[2] It was the 10th best-selling manga series during the first half of 2011. Over 1.8 million copies were sold.[3] Toriko was the eleventh best-selling manga series of 2012[4] and thirteenth best of 2013.[5] Over 3 million copies sold in 2012 and 2.8 million copies were sold in 2013.
