The golden birdwing (Troides aeacus) is a large tropical butterfly. It belongs in the family Papilionidae. It is found in Northeastern India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Burma, China, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Taiwan, Cambodia, peninsular Malaysia and Indonesia.
