Atom Mobility is Riga (Latvia) based software company that helps launching and developing vehicle sharing platforms.[1] It works in 25 countries worldwide.[2]
Overview
changeATOM Mobility was founded in 2018 in Riga, Latvia by Arturs Burnins and Artūrs Ņikiforovs.[3] In November 2018 Arturs Burnins won the grant from Atsperiens competition (12 000 EUR) for developing ATOM shared scooter solution.[4] The company was registered on December 14, 2018.[5] SIA ITG Group made an investment of EUR 50,000 at the time of company registration.[6]
The ATOM Mobility was launched in April 2019 in Riga under the app name Ride ATOM. It was the first e-scooter sharing platform launched in the Baltics.[7] In July 2019, ATOM Mobility launched white label e-scooter platform that allow businesses to launch own shared fleets.[8]
In 2020, the company was recognized as the best startup of the year in the Latitude59 startup competition. ATOM Mobility received an investment of 200,000 euros from the Estonian Business Angels Network.[9] In 2021, ATOM Mobility received “The Red Jackets” special award "Rising Stars" for 500% export growth over the last 12 months. In the same year the company began cooperation with Estonian startup Veriff.[10] In 2022, the company launched ATOM Academy to share knowledge about micromobility.[11]
ATOM Mobility is connecting companies with micro-mobility solutions in 70 cities and 25 countries worldwide.[12] The company has the largest number of customers in Europe (Italy, Germany, Scandinavia, Baltics) and MENA.[13]
