Welcome
changeHello! I noticed that you may have come here from another Wikipedia, so you know a little about how things work here. I hope you like it here and decide to stay! Here are some links to help you adjust:
- An English Wikipedian's guide
- Writing in Simple English
- Where to ask questions and discuss things
- How to copy from another Wikipedia
There is a lot to do here. Most of it is writing articles that do not exist yet, which you can do by translating from other Wikipedias, but have a look around and see what you want to do. Thanks for joining us! If you need any help, be sure to visit Simple Talk or contact an administrator. Happy changing! MathXplore (talk) 10:37, 25 October 2023 (UTC)

changeBefore adding a category to an article, as you did to "Category:VTubers", please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category you have chosen. Categories that are not suitable will be removed from articles. If you are not sure what category an article belongs in, leave a message on the article's talk page. Thank you. MathXplore (talk) 05:24, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
- (Note) VTubers are a type of YouTubers, so Category:YouTubers should have been added to here. Please also note that the category is renamed per enwiki (WP:FOLLOW). MathXplore (talk) 05:26, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
- I got it, thanks a lot. 今好きになる (talk) 06:27, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
Hello! Thank you for creating Category:VTubers. However, we normally need at least three pages in a category before it is created. Because categories are a way to group together similar articles, there is no need to create a new category for just one or two articles. If you think there might be more pages to add to the new category, please add them now. Thank you. MathXplore (talk) 05:24, 29 October 2023 (UTC)

fr:Applaudissements aux fenêtres pendant la pandémie de Covid-19
(es:Aplauso por los trabajadores de la salud) (gl:Aplauso ao persoal sanitario) Please be bold and help translate this article! During the COVID-19 pandemic, applauding daily at a scheduled hour was a gesture of acclamation, recognition and gratitude towards health professionals in tribute to their work at the time. This habit emerged in January 2020 in Wuhan, where the pandemic originated, and then spread to several cities around the world during the quarantines and sanitary cordons ordered as preventive measures, Italy being the first one. - (Non-administrator observation) Admins should be allowed to compare the current version and the deleted ones. Therefore, I restored the QD tag. Deletion log ([1]) suggests G4/G5, no clear reason to trust their statement. Let me know if you have any other questions. MathXplore (talk) 02:19, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
