Hand washing The best way to protect against infectious diseases like the flu (influenza) and colds is to wash your hands (or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer). In addition, to have a real protection you must pay attention with the aseptics rules to prevent the transmission of infectious diseases and reduce the risk of infecting others. If you do not wash your hands properly before coming into contact with others, you may pass on the germs of the virus on your hands. Washing hands, it's not complicated and it does not cost a thing. but, it’s a simple gesture for preventing the spread of bacteria that cause many diseases. Wash your hands several times a day with soap and warm water before eating, feeding children, preparing food, after using the toilet, coughing or sneezing and visiting sick people at the hospital.
