Countries
changePlease stop adding England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales to List of countries. Wikipedia treats the United Kingdom as a country, not the constituent countries. Yes, I know they are called "constituent countries", but that does not mean they are treated as countries on Wikipedia. There are situations where opinions differ on how to treat geographical entities, and Wikipedia picks one, so that there is a consistent way to refer to things. Another example is continents (Is "the Americas" a continent, or are North and South America separate continents? Is it Eurasia, or is it Europe and Asia?, etc.). This doesn't mean that other points of view are wrong. It just means that Wikipedia has chosen one of the points of view, and it is to be followed everywhere.
Besides all that, you are close to being uncivil when you talk about "uneducated Americans" in your edit summary. Please don't make comments like that. (It isn't just Americans editing the page, by the way.) --Auntof6 (talk) 03:50, 8 October 2015 (UTC)
