Governor-General. change

As the Governor General has the power of Royal assent over legislation (making laws as well as enforcing them) and is the acting head of state, he does meet the definition of politician.

In a state, a member of the executive branch of government, or the office of
Head of State, as well as the legislative branch, and regional and local levels
of government.

By definition, even a child figurehead monarch qualifies as a politician. A royally appointed Head of state is still a head of state and thereby, a politician. Jeffery can not even use the "Is a member of the military executing law" portion of the definitions as Royal assent means technically he is making the act of parliament into a law. And with him there is also the position of governor of West Australia also marking him as a politician. -- Creol(talk) 14:03, 3 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

PM's change

Hello Shadow007, The articles which you created and watch on Prime Ministers could, to put it gently, do with;

  • expansion on some
  • simplification on others
  • A dash of NPOV on all.

There are a few more editors joining up and you may want to edit before they. Good work starting them off and hope to see more developing stubs. Categories and nav templates, etc are useful. Regards (@WP:WA) Fred 17:08, 7 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm more than happy for you/others to edit. I don't watch in order to prevent people editing nor do I have any desire to beat others to editing. Shadow007 21:47, 8 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Further, I endeavour to ensure that all my edits on enwiki and simplewiki are NPOV. Should I have failed in this regard then I am happy for others to fix it. Idly pointing it out is not particularly helpful. Shadow007 01:13, 9 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Australian State Premiers change

Hello, I am importing the State Premier navboxes right now. Please use them if you create another article about another state premier. Plus they are very useful for creating new ones, as they have all the redlinks bundled together^^ The life of brian (talk) 15:17, 12 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
