Shoshtari123~simplewiki
Welcome
changeHello, Shoshtari123~simplewiki, and welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia! I hope you will be happy helping here. You should begin by reading these pages: Wikipedia:Useful, Help:Contents, Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines, and how to write Simple English articles. If you want some ideas of which pages to work on, read Wikipedia:Requested articles or the list of wanted pages.
Even though it is a good idea to research an article (like looking at the discussion page) before making large changes, please be bold and try! Any changes you make that are not perfect can be fixed later. We are also working most on core articles and the most common topics until this Wikipedia grows.
If you want to ask a question or talk with other members, you can visit our version of the "village pump" at Wikipedia:Simple talk. Administrators on Wikipedia can also help you with more difficult problems. You can also ask me for help. The best way to do that is to leave a message on my talk page. You should always sign your messages on Talk pages by typing "~~~~" (four tildes) at the end of your words.
Good luck and happy editing! · Tygartl1·talk· 18:14, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
Persian poets
changeHi! I noticed your contributions about Persian poets. I appreciate them, and think we can make the better by adding "sources" to them. What sources do you use for the articles by now? English Wikipedia? Farsi Wikipedia? Both? Any other source? Please specify. - Huji reply 17:53, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

changeIs this you? I have been noticing that IP user contributing to Persian articles. j. rand|talk| ε contribs|email 07:17, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
- yes, I am 217.219.75.137. I just forgot to log in.Shoshtari123 13:33, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- To be more precise, that IP is one from a range of IPs belonging to an ISP. I assume Shoshtari will be changing IPs on that range, as long as he/she is using this ISP. - Huji reply 14:31, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
changeHello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Shoshtari123. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Shoshtari123~simplewiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
