Thanks for the welcome
Thanks for the welcome. Working on Simple Wikipedia is a lot more difficult than it looks. It is very intellectually challenging, which is not initialy obvious.--Filll 18:03, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

Hi, yes I do use IRC, but unfortunately the netowork I'm on at the moment won't let me on. I'll be on both Simple channels later (about 5.30pm UTC I think). There's always email if it's for admin eyes only or something. Archer7 - talk 10:22, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

Can you please tell me how to change the color of my signature. I want it to be green to show that I'm a member of Esperanza. Thanks and god bless.--Sir James Paul 13:09, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
Thanks
Thank you, Tdxiang, for fixing that icon for me. Also thank you for the support you gave me on the admin board electuins. I hope, your application will not turn out like my first one (I had a similar number of edits then; and did not get elected because of Freshstart"s opposition). Anyway, thanks. -- Eptalon 13:50, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

Promotions
Hi Tdxiang! Unless anyone requests more time etc I hope to sort out the whole bureaucrat mess tomorrow. At the moment that will be removal of sysop and bureaucrat for Netoholic, and promotion of Blockinblox and me. As it's only going to be one day difference, I'll request your promotion as well. Unless someone requests it first, technically I'm not in charge of this... Thanks, Archer7 - talk 20:03, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

Re:Netoholic Decision
Thanx; You are also an excellent contibuter. Well my current plans are once I exceed 800 - 1000 edits, mostly by improving articles, stopping vandalism, and stop editing my userpage too much, I plan to also run for sysop. And also once I quit my semi-wikibreak. (After that, I'll probably run for berucrat if I can and then be a checkuser if they allow minors to be able to. But we must be 18 y.o. to be stewards, per meta-wiki rule) --§ Alastor Moody (T + C) 18:23, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

- ok, but it's no necessary to desysop, bullz have a problem but he is a sysop... came back as soon as possible ;) --vector ^_^ (talk) 10:04, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
- I wouldn't say it's necessary to desysopped for a holiday. If you're worried about security, we can always block and pray/go on IRC to the stewards. Admins can't do anything really that isn't reversible. Of course, your decision. I think we have a 'holiday' tag somewhere to put on your userpage... Archer7 - talk 13:37, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
- I agree with Archer7, it shouldn't be necessary to desysop you for a holiday, also remember that either he or I could desysop you at your request if you really wanted it -- that's what bureaucrats are for, no need to ask at Meta...! Blockinblox - talk 14:52, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, no we can't. A few months ago they took that privilege away from bureaucrats. The biggest real concern for inactive admins is that it looks a little misleading to visitors. The 'Inactive' section on the admin page is fine for holidays and things like that. Archer7 - talk 16:02, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

When is the next election for sysop's? Also I am wondering if you can teach me some things that I would need to know to be a sysop. If I have enough edits I want to run. --Sir James Paul 20:14, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
Very strange reverts...
I did not make any of these dummy edits - this one, this one and this one. It's making some very annoying reverts that I have no control of. I installed the popups program a few days ago, and since then, these very strange edits are coming. I have no idea what to do with this popups program. Hope you can help me out if you can, please. - Hello! I think it's best if my monobook page is DELETED, since I don't really need any of it, and also to prevent any more problems it might cause. Since you're an admin, could you please delete it for me? Thanks. RaNdOm26 10:33, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

Help
As you know, in the future I would like to become a sysop. I am wondering if you will tell me all the tools you have access to and how to use them. Also what do you think I can do to gain the respect of the community? Have a nice week and god bless.--Sir James Paul 01:41, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
AbbyItalia
I understand that she is a sockpuppet and was avoiding a block but can you please just give her one more chance. I think that she is now motivated to help hear because I offered her a barnstar if she did 4 major edits, and many small ones. Please give her just one more chance. Lower her block down to a few weeks. Still tough but not as tough. Have a nice week and god bless.--Sir James Paul 02:53, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
- I took a quick look at her edits and did not see vandalism.--Sir James Paul 03:06, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
RE:Kimberly Ashton and AbbyItalia
Yeah, I thought as much. I sent a email to Archer7 about it early on in December. I am almost positive that 71.231.130.56 is the IP that those two are using, but I haven't got any official "proof". PullToOpen Talk 14:31, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- I know I am the vandal to you and you probably hate me. Just out of curiousity, why are you inactive as an admin already?! --71.231.130.56 20:21, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- Just wanted to let you know, I am creating an account but not to evade a block but because I don't like editing anonymously. I will create a User page with wiki babel but that is all. Please do not block it. It's name will be CopperTone. Good day. --71.231.130.56 03:31, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
- Okay thanks! And Gong Xi Fa Choi in China. one more question, what's the difference between an administrator and a beaurucrat? --71.231.130.56 18:44, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
Would this be vandalism?
Someone editted this into the article greenhouse effect "Many peoples are very interested in the greenhouse effect in the atmosphere of the Earth. Factories, farms, and other things that human beings do to make many different gases that go into the Earth's atmosphere. The gases carbon dioxide, methane, and chlorothingamagjihggers make the atmosphere less transparent to heat, so the Earth might maybe get warmer." They also used thingy. Would it be vandalizm?
Adimship
I do not want to be a sysop here anymore. I think that I will be ready to run to become one at wikipedia in may. Until then I have my duties as sysop at wikiteinment. Maybe i'll change my mind. Get back to me at wikipedia please. I am not really here much. God bless.--^Sir^James^Paul^ 04:51, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

The city actualy does exist: [1] -- Creol(talk) 09:10, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
I am wondering if it would fall under the same category as Eliot, Maine - not realy notable, but not entirely not notable. Either way, adding the "This does not exist" message to the users who posted it is not exactly true and may cause issues with them complaining that it does indeed exist. Just because en:wiki does not have an article does not mean the city does not exist. -- Creol(talk) 09:16, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

Hello friend
Hi friend. I thank you for your message and reminding me that I have some commitements at Simple too. I just got your message of English Wikipedia. In fact, I want to continue here and I have not left. However, the time at my disposal is the problem. Now, things are almost settled in my real life and I shall surely start editing very soon. --Bhadani 10:46, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Regarding [this post] to my talk page; I'm not sure what this is in regards to, but I suspect that bored teenagers registered a imposter account in my name and thought they could de-sysop me. thanks for the welcome
Hi Tdxiang, thanks for the welcome. I like being on simple.wiki, in some ways even more than en.wiki, because there doesn't seem to be the same amount of vandalism and POV-conflicts here. Hopefully that never changes! It's also appealiing to see that there is so much left to do here, it makes you feel as if you are really making a difference when you start a stub or expand one. I notice that a lot of articles aren't yet well categorised, and I hope to help fix that. You can tell from my edits that I've been concentrating right now on topics that particularly impact my life, but I do hope to branch out to other areas as well. Thanks again! --Kyoko 11:19, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

King of Germany deletion
Hi! I was wondering why the King of Germany page was deleted? Other than the request for deletion, there were only two votes. Both of these votes were for the article to be kept or redirected to the actual German song title. I voted to keep the page because someone who doesn't speak English well may want information on the past Kings of Germany. In my opinion, they would most likely be searching for the German Kaisers, and I thought they should be taken to that page. When you search for that on English wikipedia, you are taken immediately to a page with German Kings and Kaisers. As far as can I can tell it was a 2 - 1 vote to keep the article. Just curious as consensus seemed to be to keep and redirect? Thanks, Browne34 02:35, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
Selective restoration
I have done a selective restoration on your talk page to get rid of the link that was added by a vandal to your talk page. The link was to a website that had personal information of everybody's favorite KMcA on it. Cheers, PTO 23:23, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
