June 2021 change

Hello, WhitePhosphorus. When you revert a user's changes, like you did earlier, don't forget to leave the user a message on their talk page, especially when reverting vandalism or a test edit. You may find Template:User talk page warnings/table useful when doing this, to let them know that the change was considered inappropriate, and to direct them to the sandbox. Thank you. Please remember to use user warn templates when you're reverting normal vandalism or test edits. Thanks! --Ferien (talk) 21:26, 19 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi Ferien, thanks for the notice. The one I reverted is a global LTA though, known as arab string spammer, who has been active for > 2 years, so I just silently reverted their edits. If warning after every reverting is required on the wiki, I will certainly respect the policy. --WhitePhosphorus (talk) 03:08, 20 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
Oh I see, that makes sense. If it's long-term abuse, there's no need to warn. Regards, --Ferien (talk) 10:23, 20 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
