Weinviertel

The Weinviertel (Wine Quarter), also called the Viertel unter dem Manhartsberg (Quarter below the Manhartsberg), is a region in the Austrian state of Lower Austria.
The Weinviertel is the most northeastern part of (Lower) Austria. It lies above the Danube River and borders both the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The city/state of Vienna lies in the south.
It consists of low hills, which form the most western spur of the Carpathian Mountains.
It is well known for its winegrowing (the biggest of Austria).
The maximum temperature in July and August is about 24 °C.
The Weinviertel comprises the following districts:
