The main characters are a bear named Banjo and an orange bird named Kazooie. The game takes place two years after Banjo-Kazooie. It follows Banjo and Kazooie as they try to stop the evil witch Gruntilda Winkybunion and her sisters, Mingella and Blobbelda, from bringing back Gruntilda's body to its original form.
The game was released on the Xbox 360's Xbox Live Arcade service on April 29, 2009.
