2013 open world action-adventure video game
Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V for short) is an action-adventure video game that was made and released by Rockstar Games. It is the fifteenth game in the Grand Theft Auto video game series. The game was released all around the world on 17 September 2013 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.[1] In October 2013, an online multiplayer was released for the game, called Grand Theft Auto Online. In 2014, Rockstar Games released Grand Theft Auto V on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

In 2015, the game was released for Microsoft Windows. The game has sold close to 170 million copies,[4] making it the second best-selling game of all time, behind Minecraft.[5]
In 2022, an expanded and enhanced version was released for the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
