Hodgeman County, Kansas
Hodgeman County (county code HG) is a county in the U.S. state of Kansas. In 2020, 1,723 people lived there.[1] Its county seat is Jetmore. Jetmore is also the biggest city in Hodgeman County.[2]

History
changeHodgeman County was created in 1867. It was named after Amos Hodgman, member of the 7th Regiment Kansas Volunteer Cavalry. The letter E was later added to the namesake's name.[3]
Geography
changeThe U.S. Census Bureau says that the county has a total area of 860 square miles (2,200 km2). Of that, 860 square miles (2,200 km2) is land and 0.3 square miles (0.78 km2) (0.04%) is water.[4]
