Welcome to the title blacklist talk page. This page is for discussing the title blacklist. Requests to add titles to the list may be made here.

Requests should be made if the title is an attack, vandalism, nonsense, or any other disruptive title. To make a request, create a new section and tell what title should be added and why it should be added. If the title is not disruptive, please do not list it here. If a title request is clearly disruptive, it will be declined and removed quickly.

Requests may also be asked at the administrators' noticeboard.

Something else for people to remember is that this list is only supposed to be for words that are common to be used in vandalism articles, it is not meant to include every bad word out there. It's getting a bit ridiculous. -DJSasso (talk) 03:25, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

Right, my only point is one use does not warrent being on here...block the user and move on. The only reason most of the admins usernames are on here is because for awhile there was a vandal creating millions of accounts spoofing admins names. But you are right you can block usernames only. However Dick is still a proper name so it wouldn't be valid...but we could probably block intercourse in a user account name. -DJSasso (talk) 03:30, 3 September 2009 (UTC)there

Tweak needed

Hello, I cannot create a new article because of a filter on the Titleblacklist. I wanted to create the Bloody Mary (cocktail) but was denied.
"You do not have permission to change this page, for the following reason:

The title "Bloody Mary (cocktail)" has been banned from creation. It matches the following blacklist entry: .*cock.* <casesensitive>" --Bsadowski1 06:38, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

I actually cull it regularely, this is the culled version NVS. We keep matched to en's list and then add our own. Last time I wiped a bunch out was only a few weeks ago. -DJSasso (talk) 23:19, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
