Miss Farah (Arabic: الآنسة فرح, transcribed Al Anisa Farah or El Anisa Farah) is an American romantic comedy-drama and satirical telenovela developed by Jennie Snyder Urman. The series premiered on December 29, 2019 on MBC 4. It is an adaptation of the original Arabic version of the American television series Jane the Virgin format, developed by Jennie Snyder Urman. The series premiered on October 13, 2014 on broadcast on the broadcaster The CW., It is a loose adaptation of the Venezuelan telenovela Juana la Virgen created by Perla Farías.[10][11] The series stars Asmaa Abulyazeid as Farah, a devout 23-year-old Latina virgin, who becomes pregnant after an accidental artificial insemination by her gynecologist. The program parodies commonly used tropes and devices in Latin telenovelas.

Beginning with the fourth episode of season three, the series's on-screen title card was modified, with "Al Anisa" crossed out in favor of a substitution corresponding to each episode. This mirrored the storyline, in which Farah is no longer a virgin.[12]

Story change

Farah works as a waitress in a hotel as she completes her studies. Her mother had her at a young age, so they're more like friends than mother and daughter. When Farah goes through a life-changing incident, her mother must stick by her side to help her through., Farah and Shadi are left to deal with the consequences of their son's kidnapping. Between war and peace, Majed and Dalal rediscover their relationship, The series stars Asmaa Abulyazeid as Farah, based on as Jane Villanueva, a devout 23-year-old Latina virgin. She becomes pregnant after an accidental artificial insemination by her gynecologist. The program parodies commonly used tropes and devices in Latin telenovelas., Farah works as a waitress in a hotel, and she suffers an accident that changes her life. As for her mother, she is young because of her early marriage, which makes the age difference between them small.[13]

Awards change

At the Miss Farah was nominated for the award for Arab Drama Critics Awards, and Asmaa Abulyazeid won the award for At the The Joy Awards, Miss Farah was nominated for the award for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy

Title card change

Series renewal change

On April 2, 2022, MBC 4 and Shahid VIP renewed the series for a fifth and final season,[15][16] which premiered on May 8, 2022.
