r/The_Donald was a subreddit on Reddit where users created discussions and memes about U.S. president Donald Trump. It was first created in June 2015 following the announcement of Trump's presidential campaign, the group grew to over 790,000 people who call themselves as "Patriots."[2] The group was banned in June 2020 for violating Reddit rules on harassment and targeting.[3][4] It was one of the most active groups on Reddit.[5][6][7]
