Srinagar district

Srinagar is at the center of the Valley of Kashmir. It is the most populous district in the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India. The largest city is Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. The capital moves to Jammu city in the winter. It is also home to the scenic Dal Lake, a popular tourist destination.
