Number of pictures

Why do we need a gallery of 15 pictures? They take up about 3 times as much space as the rest of the article put together!

Until this article is a more substantial one (like the Catalan, English, German or Spanish versions), I don't see that so many pictures are justifiable. Simple English Wikipedia isn't a holiday brochure!

(Incidently, I notice that the Afrikaans, Albanian, Chinese, Japanese, Latin and Swedish ones are the same as this one, as it was created by the same editor)

Simplifying

This article has good length, lots of information, pictures, is nicely written...but it has too many red links, and is not simple enough. Here are a few that I saw when I quickly scanned it:

autochthonous, actuality, autochthonous, indigenous, inter alia, petroglyphs, embarkation, currently, constructed, renovated, inaugurated, exhibits, allegedly, recreational, variety, commissioned, corvette, hydrographic conditions, residences

More formal PGA review

Hello, rthis is a more formal review, for PGA:

• Intro: Extend, should be at least as long as "Ortzúcar family", or even longer, compared to the length of the article. The intro should give a basic idea what the reader can expect to find in the rest of the article; look at Mimicry and its intro for an example.

History

• First explorations: Pinto is linked; Vidal Gormaz isn't. Why?
• To perform a recognition of the coast: What do you mean? - Can you say it simpler, perhaps in more than one sentence?
• In his research (...) he said that -> In his opinion, ...; His findings were that....
• Link all those words I suppose are place names?
• Link all the people's names the first time they appear.

Geography and climate

• Extend the climate section, or get rid of the section title for the table...

Demographics / Govt & Politics / Culture

As they are now, these sections look unorganized. Statistics are great,but what is your intent of telling us? - Perhaps re-organise and get a lead in there.
