Kim Hamrock (Born 1960) is an American surfer.[1][2][3] She was awarded the “2005 Woman of the Year” by the Surfing Walk of Fame. [1][2]Hamrock has won countless US surfing competitions.[1][3]One example is the Longboard Championship.[1][3] She wrote the book “My Grandma Surfs Better than You” which was published in 2017.[1][3][4] Hamrock is nicknamed “Danger Woman” for being brave while surfing.[1][2][3][4] She is also known to run regular surfing clinics.[2]
