Christianity

In general, we are not very good at covering early Christian movements (like those that started before the Protestant Reformation). This includes those movements that split during the first four ecumenical councils (i.e. until that of Chalcedon, in AD 491):

• Copt (and Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria, are there any other Coptic Churches worth mentioning; can anyone explain the real difference to the others)?
• Arianism (split at the council of Chalcedon, today, there seems to be a revival of this in the Unification Church?
• Pelagianism (heresy, at the council of Ephesus, in 431) can anyone expalin the theory better than I did?
• Nestorianism (and linked to that, probably Assyrian Church of the East)

Completely unrelated to that:

• Old Believers (which did not accept the Changes Patriarch Nikon made to the Orthodox rite)
• Maronite Church (the Catholics in the place where the Assyrian Church of the East is?)
• Catharism - The section aobut what they actually thought (their teachings; insofar they are know) is pretty illegible.

Judaism

• Judaism probably needs a thorough copyediting (mainly look for fluidity)
• Abraham, Moses, Aaron, Sarah
• Conservative Judaism, Reform Judaism, Orthodox Judaism
• Rabbi, Torah, Tanakh, Talmud, Synagogue

Islam

Most of our Islam-related articles are in what I would consider a very bad state;

• Islam (gives a rough overview)
• Sunni Islam, Shia Islam, Kharijite
• Sufism
• Mosque
• Muhammad -needs more references, some fact-checking; see this page for the full list of things to do
• The articles mentioned in Template:Islam that do not exist yet; at the moment these are Tawhīd (translated as Oneness of God), Ahl al-Bayt (translated as Household of Muhammad), Sahaba (Companions of Muhammad), Kalam (Theology), Sira (Jurisprudence), Islamic studies (Academics), Islamic philosophy, etc (check out the template)

Buddhism

No idea there; see Buddhism and Category:Buddhism (I really cannot help there; though any improvements would be appreciated)
