It's my talk page. Mind your own fucking business

Please do not remove content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to "User talk:75.166.96.143", without giving a good reason in the change summary. This is vandalism. If you want to practice changing Wikipedia, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Etamni | ✉   18:41, 25 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the change, consider creating an account so you can avoid notices that are not for you.

It looks like you are in an edit war judging from the reverts you have made on User talk:75.166.96.143. Take care, because the three-revert rule does not let users make more than three reverts on a single page in a single day. Any user may still be blocked for edit warring and disruption, even if they haven't broken the three-revert rule. When you disagree with another user, you should first try to talk about changes in order to work together to improve Wikipedia and reach consensus. If you continue to disrupt the page, you may be blocked from changing Wikipedia. Etamni | ✉   19:15, 25 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Jimbo says, "If you are here to vandalize, why don't you turn around and become a contributor instead?"

Mona Lisa, by Leonardo da Vinci
Why vandalize? A bot or a person will revert your changes soon after they are made and then what do you have left? Nothing! If you make constructive edits -- that is, edits that improve the encyclopedia -- there is a chance that those edits will last for years, perhaps even for decades or longer. If, instead of painting and drawing, Leonardo da Vinci had tagged buildings with the 15th-century equivalent of graffiti, there would be nothing left of his work today and he would not be famous. But he chose to create works of art and science instead. Those works have inspired millions and have endured to modern times. Please consider becoming a constructive contributor. If you have questions about how to get started, please feel free to ask them below and someone will get back to you. Regards, Etamni | ✉   19:19, 25 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Talk pages of unregistered users change

Your edit summaries when you remove content from this talk page indicates that you think this is "your" talk page. Unregistered users do not own their talk pages, and they may not remove content from them. That is because IP addresses sometimes change. If you would like to have a talk page that you can remove things from, you might want to create an account for yourself. Users with registered accounts can remove things from their talk pages. There are other advantages to having an account, as you can see at Wikipedia:Why create an account? --Auntof6 (talk) 06:21, 27 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
