Checkuser RfA change

Thanks for voting, but your comments make it seem as if you have misunderstood what a checkuser's functions are.--Bärliner 21:30, 9 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Maybe my message was confusing, because I tend to overcomplicate explanations and reasons. I opposed because firstly, User:Vector, I've only seen revert and vote inside the new changes bar that's in the left margin. Other than those he, in my views, is inactive most of the time. Secondly, Vector, not that I've seen based on his contribs, had asked or done anything to give him the rights of checkuser. Lastly, I just plainly and simply think he is not qualified yet. I don't have anything personally against him, but, Razorflame is an active and simple user, (this is just an e.g) and he deserves to be admin more than Vector deserves to be a CU. This is just my views. Please show me anything you can testify against. Svidanyay,--Amy Ames (inbox) 21:35, 9 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
There are still some issues before I can become an administrator. I would suggest that you view this page so that you can understand the dynamics of this currently. Thanks, Razorflame 21:40, 9 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
I am not asking you to change you vote, I opposed too, but "What can a checkuser do other than rename and give other people tools?" is plain wrong. Those are a 'crat's functions, not a checkuser's--Bärliner 21:43, 9 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Still, you're active, you help and you still edit articles often enough. I'm not saying you deserve it, but you deserve it MORE than Vector deserves CU in my point of view. --Amy Ames (inbox) 21:44, 9 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Oh, whoops. I know what they're supposed to do but I should have proofread my reason. Svidanyay, --Amy Ames (inbox) 21:45, 9 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
It's not about 'deserving' the tools. Oysterguitarist 21:49, 9 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hm. Then I am completely eligible to run right now, and I could get so many supports but I don't deserve the tools. Should we go with the mulitude or the guidlines?--Amy Ames (inbox) 21:55, 9 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

You could run, Bianca.. Amy.. Kimberly.. but under which of your socks would you use? And I don't doubt you could find enough accounts out there to get as much support as you could need.. -- Creol(talk) 22:00, 9 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
