Spider's RD
changeI think the RD has been closed about 2-3 days earlier than it should have been. I feel that we were rather on a break point at that time. I would assume that 4 more replies between us would be quite sufficient to reach a clearer outcome.
While I agree with the position of Peterdownunder, I would disagree in only one aspect: that there was a clear consensus. The rationale being: After introducing new input, I have left messages to the interested editors who participated in the initial survey. However, they didn't respond to show that they are still interested editors. They could have responded and preferably addressed the new input. So, I would suggest that the result of the discussion may be changed to en:WP:NOCONSENSUS. What is your opinion please?Tdfdc (talk) 19:06, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
New Article
changeHello, I would like to create an article "Products of Spider International". Here is the draft. [1]. Would that be okay?Tdfdc (talk) 18:56, 11 January 2014 (UTC)
- Tdfdc, I refuse to work/comment on any other articles related to/about Spider International, unless in an administrative capacity. This thing has taken up too much time for me already. Please look for someone else. Thank you. Chenzw Talk 01:23, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
Block notice on User talk:96.5.241.8
changeYou blocked this user, and I thought you might like to know that an IP editor left a block notice on the talk page. If it were me who had blocked, I would at least want to be sure that the IP editor had not misrepresented my reasons for blocking, so I thought I'd let you know. --Auntof6 (talk) 11:47, 15 January 2014 (UTC)
- Hi, both IPs have consistently showed similar patterns of edit abuse (especially with regard to MediaWiki:Blockedtext). These IPs belong to a banned user, and my initial idea was to just block, revert and ignore (without leaving any warning). Doesn't seem to be working very well, though, with the numerous IPv6 addresses that are being handed out by ISPs... Chenzw Talk 15:02, 17 January 2014 (UTC)

Possible range block.
changeThank you for deleting the hoax page and blocking the IP. This creation of hoax pages has been going on for a while now so would a range block be possible? Thanks.--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 13:25, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, a range block is not possible, because it will cause too much damage to other legitimate users of the same ISP (the blockable range is too large to be effective). Deletions will have to do for now. Chenzw Talk 13:31, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
- Ok thanks for looking in to it. *sigh* It did seem the IP had stopped but with the creation of another hoax page today, it seems I was wrong.--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 14:43, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
