Don't forget... change

to warn users after removing vandalism. This will allow us to keep track of their bad changes and help the admins figure out if they need to take further actions on them. << S O M E G A D G E T G E E K >> (talk) 16:42, 13 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Some Gadget Geek:, thanks for the reminder. Most of the time I do give warnings but it must have slipped my mind today :) Thanks -- Crasstun (talk | contributions)17:56, 13 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello change

I'm here to thank you for all the changes you made for Wikipedians. I'm really surprised that you made so many pages which cross various subject fields. I'm a newbie on Wikipedia and I hope that I'll be a good editor like you some day. As a experienced Simple Wikipedia User, do you have any advice for me? If you have time, It's welcome to leave a message on my talk page =) 17chseld 107 (talk) 03:01, 31 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi @17chseld 107:, thank you for your message  . I guess my only advice is to make sure you've read and understood all the rules and help pages, and to not be afraid of asking for help if you need it (Simple talk is a good place for this).--Crasstun (talk | contributions) 16:10, 31 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Restoring invalid deletion tags change

Not sure why you put back the wrong deletion tags that I just removed from three correct stub articles? You can easily see they are real by looking at the enwiki versions. --87.6.122.193 (talk) 11:40, 12 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Like I said in my edit summaries, it should be left for administrators to review the request and decide if the page should be deleted or kept. Personally I think the QD tags were valid and I would have tagged them myself if Trunzep not got there first. --Crasstun (talk | contributions) 11:46, 12 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

I have my own reasons why I've put the stubs on the pages you've made. Do not tamper with anything. I have made them as valid as possible. For now, lets leave the rest to the admins to review the stubs as Crasstun has stated. -- Purple Lamborghini1738 11:48, 12 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Question about vandalism change

I have one question. Are these edits (1 2) vandalisms? --Zabshk (query) 16:10, 18 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Zabshk: The first one definitely is vandalism. The second one isn't really, I suppose it could be seen as an editing test.--Crasstun (talk | contributions) 16:14, 18 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
I asked stewards to block him (probably no admins are online here now) and they said that those changes aren't vandalisms and they won't block him. I reported him to administators, but I preffered to consult this with other rollbacker :). --Zabshk (query) 16:19, 18 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
User blocked by admin. --Zabshk (query) 16:32, 18 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
No problem:) I think a Steward will only intervene if the vandalism is really serious or the user is vandalising multiple wikis. It'll be interesting to see if the user comes back to edit constructively (or at all) when the block expires.--Crasstun (talk | contributions) 17:13, 18 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
That will be nice, because simple wikipedia needs active users (but not vandals of course). --Zabshk (query) 17:38, 18 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Subpage change

Hi Crasstun: I'm not so sure that the page you created with your election predictions is allowed per our WP:USER guidelines. The information on it is of no use to Wikipedia and is only for your personal thoughts on the election. It could wind up at RFD. Only (talk) 12:47, 23 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi Only, thanks for the heads up. I just thought it would be an little experiment to see if I can predict the results roughly based on the opinion polls. If somebody does try to RFD it I won't intervene and oppose its deletion.--Crasstun (talk | contributions) 14:23, 23 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Error category on your subpage User:Crasstun/Second inauguration of Barack Obama change

Hi, Crasstun. I'm working on clearing out Category:Pages using duplicate arguments in template calls, and your sandbox page User:Crasstun/Second inauguration of Barack Obama is showing up there. I found the problem: there's a duplicate accessdate parameter in a {{cite web}} template at the end of the "Official swearing-in ceremony" section. I'd be glad to fix it if you like, or you can. Let me know. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 04:43, 8 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi Auntof6 (sorry about the late reply). You're welcome to go ahead and fix it if you want, I'm not good with that technical stuff so I'd probably somehow make it worse! Thanks --Crasstun (talk | contributions) 16:54, 10 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

I need your help in labeling! change

ORES needs many edits to be classified, so please go here to help. Thank's, Adotchar| reply here 22:47, 4 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Adotchar:. Thanks for the message. I've never seen that type of gadget before but I thought I'd give it a try. I made about 20 labels but I'll do a load more when I get the time. Thanks. --Crasstun (talk | contributions) 16:48, 5 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
