Volleyball team articles change

Hi, Jacilason. We're glad to have you. But would you mind doing us a favor? You've added many articles on national volleyball teams. But you used the template {{Infobox national football team}}. It would be good if you can change all of these to {{Infobox national volleyball team}}. This will give everyone a chance to add the right information. Thank you. Asking for a hold on deletions here change

@Rus793: Please see the explanation for my request on the talk page of the Australia article. en:WP:BITE
@Jacilason: You need to add more information to these articles or they will be deleted. I have requested that they not be deleted quite this fast. But you have to add information in the next few days, or they will be deleted. StevenJ81 (talk) 21:22, 21 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

However, you're not allowed to erase the delete request. You have to respond to it. StevenJ81 (talk) 21:26, 21 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
Jacilason, sorry in the delay getting back to you I had several messages all at once. Not a problem at all letting you have some time to work on these. In fact I'll be happy to help you if you need it. Sorry I mistook this for something else. With some content and simplified for our readers these are welcome articles here. User:Rus793 (talk) 22:00, 21 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
There is not reason to remove. The teams were well-known and it is important. — This unsigned comment was added by Jacilason (talk • changes) on 21:30, 21 May 2015 (UTC).Reply
REALLY: YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO ERASE THE DELETE REQUESTS. I rolled those all back. If you try to do that again, I will go ahead and support the quick delete requests.
There still has to be worthwhile information in the article for them to stay. Add some information and they will stay. Don't add information and they will go. And if you don't follow the rules, they will probably go. StevenJ81 (talk) 21:33, 21 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
OK, @Jacilason: User @Rus793 is willing to give you a little time. But you have to add information to the text of the article. Data in the infobox is not enough. And this information must follow the rules. Please look at the top of this talk page for more information about the rules.
If you can write even a little bit about the importance of these teams, the articles can stay. But if you can't, then they will be deleted. StevenJ81 (talk) 21:37, 21 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
(moved to proper time order, but you didn't see it, I guess)

The importance? well team introduced the world's countries are trivial? Cuba won Olympic - Bulgaria won Euro and World Championship - Australia played in Olympic and won Asian Cup. - Serbia won 2 Olympic and Team year's in Serbia Country. Be a little reasonable. The debate itself. Jacilason (talk) 00:17, 22 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
Dear Jacilason: You missed Rus793's comment before, which he tucked in earlier in the conversation. But we agree: these articles are about notable teams. They need to be improved, but we are not going to delete them. Rus793 is also willing to help you make the articles better.
Right now, what you need to do is write a little bit of an article. It's not enough to post infoboxes. You have to write something about each team. It does not have to be long. Two or three sentences on each team would be enough for now. But write something. As long as you do that much, we won't delete the article. StevenJ81 (talk) 01:27, 22 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Jacilason:I withdrew the qd requests. I'm not sure how much that will help as they are still on the new pages list for other patrollers to review. If these are based on enwiki articles, simply copy more of the information (with sources if they have them). Then simplify the text—which I'll help you with if you want—and they should be reviewed. See Wikipedia:How to copy from another Wikipedia. But sooner is better than later. As @StevenJ81: mentioned, they do need more information or they may be deleted; if not right away then eventually. Again, if you have any questions or would like any help, just ask. User:Rus793 (talk) 02:09, 22 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove. I'm trying to improve it, Ok.— This unsigned comment was added by Jacilason (talk • changes) on 18:48, 22 May 2015‎ (UTC).Reply
@Jacilason: There is a way to hold up other editors but it is only for a short time. It can't be abused by leaving it there indefinitely or for several days. Use the {{in use}} tag at the top of the page. It says the article is undergoing a major edit for a short while. When you have each where you want them, then remove the tag. This will buy you some time. Thanks. User:Rus793 (talk) 21:54, 22 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

May 2015 change

We like and strongly encourage helpful changes to Wikipedia, but "Asian Championship" was directly copied and pasted from the main English Wikipedia. Please do not do that. Such articles are usually too complex. They need to be simplified before or immediately after being added to the Simple English Wikipedia. In addition, be sure to include attribution on the article's talk page. Thank you. Please read the 'How to copy from another Wikipedia' link above. Also, the title does not say what the article is about. User:Rus793 (talk) 21:06, 26 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Volleyball articles change

Hi, Jacilason. Hope things have settled down a bit. I just marked the article on the CHN team as patrolled. But please go back to all of these articles, trade out the soccer/football infoboxes for volleyball infoboxes, and add a little more to the articles. Please. I doubt they are actually deletable now. But they're useless, which may be worse. StevenJ81 (talk) 16:36, 9 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
