Hello, Kiamnomch, and welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia! I hope you will be happy helping here. You should begin by reading these pages: Wikipedia:Useful, Help:Contents, Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines, and how to write Simple English articles. If you want some ideas of which pages to work on, read Wikipedia:Requested articles or the list of wanted pages.

Even though it is a good idea to research an article (like looking at the discussion page) before making large changes, please be bold and try! Any changes you make that are not perfect can be fixed later. We are also working most on core articles and the most common topics until this Wikipedia grows.

If you want to ask a question or talk with other members, you can visit our version of the "village pump" at Wikipedia:Simple talk. Administrators on Wikipedia can also help you with more difficult problems. You can also ask me for help. The best way to do that is to leave a message on my talk page. You should always sign your messages on Talk pages by typing "~~~~" (four tildes) at the end of your words.

If you would like to test Wikipedia, please use the sandbox. Please do not test Wikipedia by editing its articles.

Good luck and happy editing!

Lucas Cranach the Elder change

I really like this article, it's beautifully thought out and done. So many red links of course - there's an awful lot still missing in Simple Wikipedia. Well done! 62.167.26.154 19:48, 14 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Local government in England change

Many thanks for this brilliant article! Nick Michael 21:02, 25 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Reverting vandalism change

Everyone forgets sometimes, but when you revert vandalism here on the Simple English Wikipedia, do you think you could warn them using the appropriate warnings? If you need the list of warnings, feel free to ask me for them, and I will give them to you. Cheers, Razorflame 18:02, 1 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sorry about that, its just I'm still not really used to the whole prospect, having not very much free time to work on Wikipedia. Also, since I am doing other work, it's hard to concentrate fully, so I excuse myself and will try to remember this in the future. Thanks, --Kiamnomch - talk 18:25, 1 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I wasn't trying to reprimand you. You've been doing a wonderful job reverting vandalism! Keep it up!

Welcoming users change

Please wait before a user has made one or two contributions to this Wikipedia before welcoming them. That way only useful editors are welcomed and set on the right track. Thanks! --Gwib -(talk)- 19:54, 6 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for bringing this to my attention, Gwib, as I was not aware of this since it was not stated anywhere in the wikipedia manuals that I read. Maybe it would be a good idea to write it in there somewhere. --Kiamnomch - talk - contribs 07:59, 7 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

You change

Temporal Teaze change

As you noted in your edit summary, Temporal Teaze is not notable. Rather than deleting the article as not notable, I moved it into your userspace (User:Kiamnomch/Temporal Teaze so the work would not be lost. I also did a quick copyedit to the lead-in and add the categories (commented out so they do not currently show) which would be applicable should the band become notable. -- Creol(talk) 01:02, 2 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

You might want to look at the image. It will be deleted soon because of a copyright issue. Kennedy (talk) 16:05, 3 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
I don't have much experience unfortunately. Only free images can be used here. But for actual image copyright laws, sorry, nothing. If you want to know about Scottish Housing Law, I'm your man though :) Kennedy (talk) 21:00, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Well, if Scottish Housing law will get me back that picture, then be my guest to try it on the commons people. Otherwise, if you have a friend who knows about swiss copyright law, he could help a little.
Anyway, ill try to have a word with someone over on commons and try to get something sorted out. Thanks anyway though --·.·´¯`·->Kiamnomch<-·´¯`·.·-- 15:01, 17 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Rollback change

After checking your contributions, I wanted to ask you if you'd like to have rollback. Basically, it reverts all changes a user made to a page with one click.

Tempted? --Gwib -(talk)- 16:30, 3 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well... --Gwib -(talk)- 17:26, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
sorry, did not notice this message, I was just wondeiring which contributions you were referring to and why? --·.·´¯`·->Kiamnomch<-·´¯`·.·-- 17:30, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Every single one! Rollback is a gadget to fight vandalism, and that's all you do. With rollback, you'll be able to revert several edits at once and automatically save the page without having to press 'Save Page' every time. --Gwib -(talk)- 17:38, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
well, youll have to tell me where it is, I havent seen it recently, but thanks for the info anyway --·.·´¯`·->Kiamnomch<-·´¯`·.·-- 17:42, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
It's up there, in the blue link... Or, if you're blind, here as well. --Gwib -(talk)- 17:46, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

If you were blind, you couldn't see the second link either, could you? Duh... Nick Michael (talk) 06:43, 7 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

well, incase you hadnt noticed, "Rollback has now been allowed for non-administrators. You may request rollback at the administrator's noticeboard, or on an administrator's talk page." I dont want to go to all that bother really for an rvv, I think ill stick with the normal way of doing it, but thanks. --·.·´¯`·->Kiamnomch<-·´¯`·.·-- 18:23, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
