Good article discussion

change

Hi OMGmelissa,

I mentioned your article in a discussion here. Please don't take what I have written personally - it is just that your article was the latest article to be proposed as a Good Article which is why I picked on it.

Regards

On the same subject, you've left an 'under construction' tag on the page for several days now. You really want to complete your work on the page so others can edit also. One of the requirements of a good article is to go through several revisions. Having that tag on it holds up that progress. As a suggestion, next time try to complete an article in your sandbox, then post it. You might also run this article (once you've finished constructing it) through the Readability of Wikipedia tool. Readability is not the same as simplifying, but it's still a good tool to help see where you are. Minimize the compound and complex sentences as much as possible then let it go through the process of revisions by other editors. I hope this helps. Good luck Rus793 (talk) 15:23, 13 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

yeah it helps, thank you so much. OMGmelissa (talk) 16:18, 13 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
I reviewed the page and removed it from the new pages list. I did add the complex tag so other editors (or you) would edit and simplify the article a bit. It also could use more links to words not in Simple English. But this tag helps you to move this along to where it can be nominated for Good Article again. Again, good luck.
