• Unfortunately, I do not think your English is satisfactory for this wiki. I have had to rewrite almost all of your work on VV Cephei. Simple English requires good writing skill because we have to simplify difficult language and difficult concepts. Don't think it is easy to write simply. For a start, you can stop using capital letters where they do not belong. Consult your teacher if in doubt. But, thanks for the effort! Macdonald-ross (talk) 08:53, 17 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Please take note of WP:ONESTRIKE. Though this project is welcoming of contributions, as with all Wikipedias, if your editing continues to necessitate serious work on the part of other volunteers to clean up after you, that would be considered disruptive editing. At this point, it does not seem you have the ability to write articles proficiently with simplified English proficiently, or English in general. As Macdonald-ross noted above, you can start with not using capitalization randomly, but there are other identifiable aspects of your writing that can make it nearly unintelligible to someone learning English. I would highly recommend seeking another hobby while awaiting a block appeal on the English Wikipedia, and not editing here or on other Wikimedia projects. What do you mean? I need to update and make articles. --THE COLOSSAL GALAXY NAMED IC1101 (talk) 04:42, 18 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

August 2020

change

Hello, I'm Operator873. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Virgo Cluster, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see Wikipedia:Citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. I removed the section you added about a particular galaxy being "the most famous" in this cluster as your claim was not supported by a reliable source. Since you are currently blocked on the English Wikipedia for similar conduct, this is your ONLY warning per WP:ONESTRIKE. Operator873talkconnect 16:25, 18 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ok... I unfortunately don’t know how to cite sources. THE COLOSSAL GALAXY NAMED IC1101 (talk) 16:28, 18 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Until you understand how to add sources then you shouldn't edit here because competence is required. Operator873talkconnect 16:33, 18 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from changing Wikipedia for 48 hours for being unkind towards other editors..

Once the block has ended you can make helpful changes. Please read Wikipedia's blocking policy and remember that adding spam, making changes that do not have a neutral point of view, making personal attacks on others, not respecting other people's privacy, and vandalizing pages are not allowed. If you do any of these things, you will be blocked again.

If you think this block is unfair, you can ask to be unblocked by adding {{Unblock|your reason here}} below. If you cannot do this or the reason is private please send an e-mail to simple-admins-l@lists.wikimedia.org and an administrator will look at your reason and reply. You may want to read our guide to unblock requests before asking to be unblocked. Operator873talkconnect 03:11, 22 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

COMMENT: You may find this unexpected, but your conduct on PNSMurthy's talk page is not what we'd like to see on this project. Especially demands for other editors to respond to your demands. This is flatly unacceptable. Since you're currently blocked on the English Wikipedia, you are subject to WP:ONESTRIKE which means I could block you indefinitely with no warning. However, I'm going to give you a chance to improve your behavior. If you are not kind to other editors and edit the project yourself, I will reblock with the permanent block. Operator873talkconnect 03:15, 22 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Incidentally, if you weren't aware, you are able to write here on your talk page while you are blocked. The 48 hour block is to encourage you to talk to me and prevent you from behaving unkindly towards other editors. Operator873talkconnect 03:21, 22 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

change

Please follow our usual practice, as follows:

  1. If you wish to address a particular editor, do so on his talk page.
  2. If you wish to discuss the content of an article, please do so on the article's talk page. When leaving comments about the content on a talk page you should be explicit. Say exactly what you mean, and do not suggest bad practice unless that is clearly evident.

Please do not add long comments to your edit summaries. Summaries should only note the character of the edit. Full explanations can go on the talk page.

Thank you. Macdonald-ross (talk) 08:46, 3 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Refurbishments

change

I encourage you to start making refurbishments on the list of largest stars. Whilst I understand the quality has never been as high as it was on the main site, it is dramatically behind in terms of quality. Faren29 (talk) 05:42, 6 December 2020 (UTC) Yes, Faren. --THE COLOSSAL GALAXY NAMED IC1101 (talk) 05:57, 6 December 2020 (UTC) But I need some help with the refs Btw Why the star larger than Stephenson 2-18 is dubious?Reply

Guide

change

Please read WP:RULES. I heard you were blocked by Operator873 for being unkind towards other editors. In order for you not to be blocked again, you will need to read the rules, along with our policies and guidelines. If you continue to be unkind towards other editors, this shows you do not want to contribute to Wikipedia in a calm or constructive manner. Thank you. Wagnerrrr (talk) 22:44, 28 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Your welcome, I wanted to delete the article because it was short and I will reconstruct it later on. — Preceding unsigned comment added by THE COLOSSAL GALAXY NAMED IC1101 (talkcontribs) 22:53, 28 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Wagnerrrr: The user has already been informed and doesn't appear to have been acting unkind to any editor since their block. Respectfully, I would suggest you yourself get used to our policies and guidelines by editing articles before advising other users on how they should act. Best, --IWI (talk) 23:01, 28 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ok then. Sorry, sir. Didn’t mean to do that. Wagnerrrr (talk) 06:13, 29 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Super battleships

change

1. It is not correct to link this new page to En:Super Battleship because that is a game and this page is about real battleships.

2. You are not correct in thinking America or Britain had plans to build a super-battleship. All three powers signed a treaty in about 1923 which limited the size of battleships. U.S.A. and U.K. were and remained democracies which would not, and did not, violate that treaty. Japan did, after the government coup which replaced democratically elected politicians with military staff. All this is very well known, and I can prove it with references. Please remember to sign when you leave messages

change

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Just in case you didn't know, when you post messages on talkpages and Wikipedia pages, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ("~~~~") at the end of your message. You can also click on the signature button (  or  ), located in the edit toolbar, which is above the change window. This will put a signature containing your user name or IP address and the time you posted the message. This information is useful because other users will be able to tell who said what, and when. Pages that may require a signature, such as User talk:PNSMurthy. Thank you for your participation. --Cewbot (talk) 22:53, 14 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
