Comment
changeThough I bear you no ill-will, I do wish you would stop putting punctuation in where it's not needed and go somewhere else or do something else. We've really had enough of people running bots over our wiki! Macdonald-ross (talk) 18:08, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
- That was an extremely rude comment, Macdonald-ross. We're trying to encourage people to edit here, not drive them away. If this user has used punctuation incorrectly, kindly point it out to them, rather than telling them to "go somewhere else". Osiris (talk) 18:26, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
- I know how rude most people can be on the net and I do not let it get to me. Macdonald-ross is probably referring to my cleanup/typo fixing of incorrect usages of et al. Werieth (talk) 02:17, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
Werieth, thank you for fixing all these typos. One area I am going to have to ask you to be careful in is the template namespace. Particularly the conversion templates you have just edited. Template:Convert/incompatable, although misspelled, evidently produces a different error message to Template:Convert/incompatible. Osiris (talk) 02:22, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
- Then they should be combined as redundant anyway. But thank you for noticing my hard work. Werieth (talk) 02:43, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
Good work fixing all those typos!
changeHow are you finding them? I might want to work on that myself sometime. --Auntof6 (talk) 21:57, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
- I am just working off a known list of typos and searching for matches within articles. It is a rather repetitive task, but it does need to get done as I have seen quite a few typos on this project. Werieth (talk) 22:00, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
- Could I ask please that the next time you go typo fixing in that kinda quantity, maybe apply for a bot flag or a flood flag? You pretty much slaughtered the heck out of Recent Changes, most of the last 500 are yours! BarkingFish (talk) 23:53, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry about that, I am not sure what a "Flood flag" is, I just decided to start fixing a really rather annoying issue with the misplacement of commas. Werieth (talk) 23:55, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
- If you ask for a bot flag, basically it marks your account as a bot, temporarily while you're working, which means people searching recent changes can hide large amounts of edits from the same user while they check RC for other issues :) BarkingFish (talk) 23:59, 15 April 2012 (UTC)

I undid a couple of your changes
changeYou had changed "Acacia senegal" to "Acacia Senegal" in a couple of articles. "Senegal" usually means the country, and therefore should be capitalized. However, when it is used as it was here (as part of a scientific name), it does not get capitalized. Just one of the many "gotchas" of typo fixing! Cheers! --Auntof6 (talk) 02:00, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
Bot tip
changeHello sir. Have you ever wantet a bot? You cut use it to make all thoes nice typos fixing auto. Just a tip :) --Simeondahl (talk) 14:36, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
- Im not sure what you are trying to say, but using a bot for typo fixing is a really bad idea, as there are quite a few false positives. Werieth (talk) 14:38, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
- Okay, its was just a tip. --Simeondahl (talk) 14:41, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
Format
changePlease help me understand the reasons for your changes in the tables at 12th G7 summit and 19th G7 summit? The context for this review is Category:G8.
Also: in my opinion, it is a mistake to change "thumb" to "thumbnail" in the image format -- not harmful, but needlessly confusing.
Do you see where this leads? --Horeki (talk) 14:46, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- Please see http://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_body_bgcolor.asp the bgcolor attribute was depreciated and replaced with CSS (which is what I did). I was just converting the shorthand "thumb" into the full correct mediawiki syntax. Werieth (talk) 15:34, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- I do not understand your first sentence -- not yet.
As for your second sentence, I wonder if it is possible that "thumb" is better -- to be preferred -- in our "simple" context? IMO, this change is not helpful. Can we think of this as correct, but not helpful? --Horeki (talk) 16:17, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- Let me figure a way to re-say that first sentence. The parts of the table use HTML that have been replaced with the same thing in CSS. I just updated the table to do the same thing. I will also quit updating thumb. Werieth (talk) 16:22, 17 June 2012 (UTC)

Question
changeHello. I know you probably won't reply, since you have not edited here for around 7½ years, but I have a question. While looking through the "What Links Here" page for Midfielder (football), I saw your sandbox. My question: Is your sandbox an early version of Special:WantedPages? Thanks, and have a good day. ShadowBallX (talk) 19:59, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) yeah, they probably will not edit here again. This user has been indefinitely blocked on enwiki as a sock of Δ. —Belwine (talk) 20:09, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- Oh... Well there is always a little bit of hope that they reply. ShadowBallX (talk) 20:12, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
