Rollback was removed as a procedural matter relating to my longstanding ban in relation to the one I had on enwiki. Since it wasn't taken away on grounds of rollbacker abuse and I am a rollbacker on enwiki, I don't see any reason for it not to be restored. Just take a look at my contributions history on enwiki as I edit more actively there. —Mythdon [talk] [changes] 04:09, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
- I haven't looked into the details of why (the tool was removed|you were blocked) but personally I'd like to see more activity here before this tool is granted again. --Glaisher [talk] 16:40, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
- Not done Not comfortable with you having advanced permissions here. If you become active again in the future maybe, but not likely any time soon. -DJSasso (talk) 18:50, 3 June 2014 (UTC)

- I am a rollbacker on the English Wikipedia and have experience fighting vandalism. (Verify my userrights on the English Wikipedia.) --AkifumiiTalk 02:33, 25 June 2014 (UTC)
Not done You're pretty new even on English Wikipedia, and your only edits here are to this page and on user pages. Do some work here first to show that you understand how we are different from English Wikipedia. --Auntof6 (talk) 03:48, 25 June 2014 (UTC)
- @Auntof6: I have now become an autoconfirmed user and have edited in the mainspace. I even did vandalism work! Check my contribs when you have a chance! --AkifumiiTalk 05:38, 25 June 2014 (UTC)
- I see that you reverted some vandalism. I'm not sure why you called the edits you reverted "good faith", though -- so many of the same kind of edit on the same kind of article by the same user definitely constitutes vandalism. In any case, that's a good start, but I'm looking to see more of a pattern, and something that shows you understand what we're about here. Do some consistent good work here and come back in a month or so and we'll talk. --Auntof6 (talk) 06:52, 25 June 2014 (UTC)
- @Auntof6: Is adding articles to categories using hotcat for now good? --AkifumiiTalk 17:41, 25 June 2014 (UTC)
- Adding categories is good, but it will not show your anti-vandalism activity, which is what rollback is about. In addition, categories added should be appropriate. I just undid the categories you added because they were parent categories of categories the articles already had. You can read about choosing appropriate categories at Wikipedia:Categories#Choosing the correct category. If you have any questions about that, drop me a note on my talk page -- categories are sort of my specialty here. --Auntof6 (talk) 19:21, 25 June 2014 (UTC)
