History
changeBarnard was first settled in 1888. It was incorporated as a city in 1904.[4] Barnard was named for J.F. Barnard, a railroad employee.[5]

changeBarnard is at 39°11′21″N 98°2′39″W / 39.18917°N 98.04417°W (39.189171, -98.044252). The United States Census Bureau says that the city has a total area of 0.22 square miles (0.57 km2). All of it is land.[2]
