Tommy Robinson
Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon (born 27 November 1982), better known as Tommy Robinson, is an English anti-Islam campaigner, and convicted criminal.

He is the former leader of the European Defence League and English Defence League. In October 2013, he left the far-right group after four years. In January 2014, he was sentenced to 18 months in prison.[1]
Early life change
Tommy Robinson was born on 27 November 1982 in Luton, Bedfordshire.[2] He is a strong supporter of free speech. He opposes internet censorship.[3] He is best known for his far-right politics and has received criticism about islamophobia.[4][5]
He has been in prison for different crimes, for example a violent crime and because he travelled using another person's passport.[6]
In May 2018, he was arrested. This was because he was making a video outside a trial of hebephilic groomers in Leeds, West Yorkshire.[7] Despite the defendants calling for a misstrial due to his actions, the judge is quoted saying that nothing Tommy Robinson said on the live stream could have influenced the jury as the verdict had already been reached.[8][9]
