Rie Tomimatsu (born on November 26, 1985)[1] known professionally as Rie a.k.a Suzaku, is a Japanese heavy metal guitarist,singer, and songwriter. She is the first female to be a solo Japanese heavy metal guitarist. Suzaku won a gold medal at the national Guitar competition. Suzaku now has many signed records with Poppin Records. She has released 3 albums and 5 mini albums. She now pursues music with her all girl band she created called RiViNi.
Early life
changeSuzaku was born in Kawasaki Japan. Her sister Emi Tomimatsu was a big figure in her childhood life.[1]
Career
changeSuzaku started her career by winning a gold medal at the national guitar competition. Suzaku then switched to the electric guitar to continue her career.[1] She then entered a music college to learn how to sing. She then joins her first band. Suzaku continued her career by signed her songs with Poppin Records. [2]She then decided to continue her career as a soloist.[3] Suzaku currently is in a girl band she created called RiViNi.
