Hello! I noticed that you may have come here from another Wikipedia, so you know a little about how things work here. I hope you like it here and decide to stay! Here are some links to help you adjust:

There's a lot to do here. Most of it is writing articles that do not exist yet, which you can do by translating from other Wikipedias, but have a look around and see what you want to do. Thanks for joining us, and you know how to contact me if you need any help. IWI (chat) 01:51, 20 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

@ImprovedWikiImprovment: Hello, Umm.. May I ask you something? Isn't there any question room here? -- 매운 (talk) 02:01, 20 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
The closest thing we have is Simple Talk. You can ask any questions there. Or you can just ask me the question you want to ask here; I'd be happy to answer it :) IWI (chat) 02:02, 20 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
oh, thanks. You very kind. -- 매운 (talk) 02:03, 20 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
What question did you have then? :) IWI (chat) 02:04, 20 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
I'd like to write a document about VIXX's rapper "Ravi" now, but I'm wondering if I can move the Ravi document from Wikipedia in English. -- 매운 (talk) 02:07, 20 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
You can, but you need to simplify it first. You should also add attribution on the article's talk page because of copyright. You used the word "document", but I think you meant "article". :) IWI (chat) 02:14, 20 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I see:) Then I'll write the article myself. Thank you. -- 매운 (talk) 02:16, 20 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
For reference, "문서" is a translation of "article" into Korean, but the correct translation is "항목". Nice to meet you here! — Gomdoli (talk) 04:04, 20 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

In-use

change

Hiya! Noticed you said you were going to add info for Suga (rapper). I just added the template in-use for you so you can make necessary edits without having to worry about conflicting changes/edits with others. Feel free to remove it once you're done adding the information. Happy editing :) --Infogapp1 (talk) 02:34, 20 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

I'll add and remove paragraphs. Thank you. -- 매운 (talk) 02:39, 20 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Complex article copied from EN

change

Hi! Noticed you've added Shin-Ye-eun on here. Have you had a chance to check Wikipedia:How to copy from another Wikipedia? It's importance that any information we copy from other Wikipedia projects attributed property to avoid any copyright issues. Please give it a read and make necessary changes in the article. Feel free to ping me if you have any questions. --Infogapp1 (talk) 01:59, 21 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Check it. -- 매운 (talk) 02:01, 21 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
@매운: You don't have to remove the descriptions in the lede (top) altogether =) You may, however, think of other ways to make the descriptions simpler. You may check this for the full list of Simple words =) Also, please don't forget to change "External links" to "Other websites" =) I know it may take a while to get a hang of it, but with your enthusiasm, I'm sure you'd immediately get there. For attribution, check this out for some inspiration. Hope this helps, and happy editing! — Infogapp1 (talk) 02:19, 21 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

change

Hello, -rio! Here at Simple English Wikipedia we use the section heading "Other websites" instead of English Wikipedia's "External links", which you used in "Suga (rapper)". This makes it simpler and easier to read. Please remember to use "Other websites" in articles that you create in the future. Thank you for your help! Additional notes --- I've just made some simplifications for the page: Suga (rapper). Please take a look when you have time and review changes like: slice long sentences and make them simple, add a hyperlink/interlink for complex words (even if some may be redlinks, as they probably need creating in this wiki). Enjoy editing =) Infogapp1 (talk) 02:03, 21 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for letting me know, I'll keep that in mind. :D -- 매운 (talk) 02:05, 21 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Changing page title is needed.

change

Hello, -rio! Thank you for contributing on Simple English Wikipedia. Thanks to your action, everyone reading Simple English Wikipedia can read wider pages. For giving the exact name, I want to say to you about the page "Shin-Ye-eun" you made. I checked the romanisation of National Institute of Korean Language(Guk-Rip-Guk-Eo-Won) (You can see here), and found out that you can mark "-" only between syllables in first name. In other words, you can't mark "-" between first name and last name. So I think "Shin Ye-eun" or "Shin Yeeun" is correct. Again, Thank you for your contribution. Have a good time! --Raccoon Dog (talk) 17:30, 22 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Raccoon Dog: I see. I'll try to change it to "Shin Yeeun." Thanks for letting me know. :D -- -rio (talk) 02:25, 23 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
