Welcome change

Welcome to Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia! You do not need to log in to read or edit articles on Simple English Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, easy, free, and does not ask for any personal information. It also gives you many benefits. Some of them are:

  • The use of a username of your choice
  • The ability to see all your edits with a "my changes" link
  • Your own user page
  • Your own talk page which, if you choose, also allows users to send you messages without knowing your e-mail address
  • The use of your own personal list of watched pages ("my watched pages") to which you can add articles that interest you
  • The ability to move/rename pages
  • The ability to change the way you see the website and how to you can interact with it.
  • The right to vote in elections and on pages such as "Requests for deletion"

Reverted edit to T:DYK/N change

I reverted your addition of the hook to T:DYK/N. The article has no sources, therefore, illegible for DYK. Please see this, this, and this. Thank you. — RyanCross (talk) 07:09, 11 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I changed the entry. This is the source: Kok, Jacobus (1791). "Pier Gerlofs Donia". Vaderlandsch Woordenboek. 24 (P–R). Amsterdam: Johannes Allart. pp. 21. 86.89.146.118 (talk) 10:06, 11 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

November 2009 change

We like and strongly encourage helpful changes to Wikipedia, but "Wijerd Jelckama" was directly copied and pasted from the main English Wikipedia. Please do not do that, as such articles are usually too complex and may have templates that do not exist here. Thank you. Bsadowski1 06:44, 2 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps you should simplify it? I can help if you want. :) --Bsadowski1 06:44, 2 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

If you would help me simplify it, I would greatly appreciate your help. It is not a direct copy, btw. :) 86.89.146.118 (talk) 13:48, 2 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
